Features: This Bass was originally a 3-string model which was in vogue in London at the time of its making and looks to have been converted to a 4-string early in its life. This Panormo/Fendt/Maggini combined model has that 'English' sound throughout all its registers. It's a great Orchestra Bass and a killer Jazz Bass as well. A great all around/all purpose Bass is what I would call it as it does just about any job. The angled Flat-Back makes it much easier to handle and play than its sister Panormo or Concert Round-Back models that were also produced by this firm in the last 80-120 years.
Note: This Bass is no longer in our possession but will remain listed as a courtesy to the current owner that is selling it. |
