Upper Bout: 20" Belly Length: 45 3/4"
Center Bout: 15 1/2" String Length: 41 1/4"
Bottom Bout: 26 3/8" Varnish: Golden Brown
Rib Depth: 6 3/4" (5 1/2" at Neck)
Top: 4 pc Spruce
Back / Ribs: Maple, lightly figured
Neck / Scroll: Maple, lightly figured with flamed Maple Neck Graft
Features: A beautiful Italian model Double Bass made in the latter part of the 18th century.

Note: Lockey Hill (1756-1810) was the 4th son of Joseph Hill (1715-1784). Joseph was the founding member of this famous family of makers that worked in London for over 200 years. A true historic early English Double Bass. This Bass is Not for Sale.
