Note: This model is all original, and made with a 40 3/4" String Length. A complete set-up with Chromatic C-Extension was performed by New York Luthier Arnold Schnitzer. This Bass a modern 7/8ths but is labeled as a 4/4 full sized model.

These Basses in both 4 and 5-string models as well as other models made by Pollmann are currently being used in Professional Symphony Orchestras throughout the world. This is the 5th Pollmann Bass I have personally owned. The Anigre wood used for the Back and Sides seems rounds out the tone as compared to other Pollmanns made with Maple for the Back and Sides.
