Note: This model is all original, and made with a 40 3/4" String Length. A complete set-up with Chromatic C-Extension was performed by New York Luthier Arnold Schnitzer. This Bass a modern 7/8ths but is labeled as a 4/4 full sized model.

These Basses in both 4 and 5-string models as well as other models made by Pollmann are currently being used in Professional Symphony Orchestras throughout the world. This is the 5th Pollmann Bass I have personally owned. The Anigre wood used for the Back and Sides seems to round out the tone as compared to other Pollmanns made with Maple for the Back and Sides.
