Upper Bout: 19 3/4" Belly Length: 43 3/4"
Center Bout: 14 1/4" String Length: 41 1/4"
Bottom Bout: 26 5/8" Varnish: Reddish Brown
Rib Depth: 7 7/8" (gradually tapering to 6 3/8" at Neck)
Top: Spruce, fine grained
Back: Italian Poplar
Ribs: Italian Poplar
Neck / Scroll: Flamed Maple

Features: Perfectly proportioned Orchestra/Solo Bass which is equally suited for Jazz as well. This handsome modern Italian Bass was made by Ciro & Riccardo Sirleto in the Neapolitian tradition founded by the Gagliano family three centuries earlier.

Note: Sometime in the past, the original red colored varnish was stripped off the body of the Bass but left on the Scroll and Tail Block Rib area. This was just recently corrected matching the original color of the Scroll Varnish making the Bass look uniform once again. The Top was also removed and the Cross Bars and Tail Block replaced eliminating some excess weight within the original build of the Bass. The Gears were also replaced with high grade individual Brass Gears with Ebony Handles as can be seen on the Loveri Bass we recently sold after its full restoration. A new Bridge with adjusters as well as a new Carbon Fiber Endpin unit was also added. The Sirleto is now in the best shape tonally and structurally it's ever been.

This Bass has been Sold.

A traditional Neapolitan Scroll tops off this modern Italian Classic

Ideal and comfortable proportions for playing any style of music.
