  • ELECTRONICS: The NEW Smith B.M.T. 3-Band Eq 18-Volt Circuit with DIP Switches & Smith Custom Bass Humbucking Pickups and Master Volume Control (Made in the U.S.A.)
  • BRIDGE: Smith Quick String Release Bridge (QSR) Machined from Solid Brass (Made in the U.S.A.)
NOTE: All Smith Neck & Body Parts as well as other Wood Components are Handmade in our PA Factory using Aged Tonewoods from our In-House Lumberyard.  All woods are Dried & Acclimated for an average of 2 Years or More.

As of 2004 all Handmade USA Smith Bass Models Now come with our New 18-Volt 3-Band  BMT Circuit with Internal DIP Switches.

The New BSR'P' and CR'V' Pro Series Models now come Standard with our World Famous 5-Piece Laminated Maple/Morado Neck.

The 'PE' and 'VE' Elite Series Bolt-on Models have been Discontinued. We Recommend the New 'Pro' Series Models or the Industry Standard 'Elite' Series Neck-thru as an Alternative.
