I didn't bring my camera to this trade show because after 22 years it's like another day at work. My Japanese Distributor, Hajime, however did bring his camera as well as helped to set up the booth the first day. Unfortunately he had to leave after the first day of the show to get back to Japan and sell more basses. Hajime took the camera with him!! Thus, the end of our photos for the week.

Many luminous players (some more than others) did visit our booth during the show including many bass players that have business deals with other bass manufacturers. For example, Bill Dickens who has one of the first 6 string basses ever made did a bass duet in the booth with myself. We played Autumn Leaves and Willow Weep For Me. A crowd gathered and they were quite entertained. Also Marcus Miller stopped by one afternoon, who also owns a few Smith Basses. He helped my son Jonathan with some of the music from his school jazz band. Jon's younger brother Michael looked on as well.

Other pros who stopped by the booth included:
-Melvin Davis
-Rory Bennett (Bassist/Producer)
-Lalo Carillo (Luis Miguel)
-"Ready" Freddy Washington
-Fidel Arreygue

To see our list of players keep checking back as we develop our Artist/Musicians page.
