Comments: Geza Balint was born in Hungary in 1936 and imigrated to USA in 1952. He started making Bows about 1973 and went full time in 1976 making copies of French models. In 1980 he started making his own model Bows and in 1985 he entered the Diaconate progam and was ordained Deacon Balint in 1988. Since this is a Vigneron style Bow I would put the estimated date at about 1977 before he started making his own models. He is recorded to have made 354 Bows with 40 Bass Bows included.

This is a strong dark sounding Bow that grabs the string well and adds color to the sound of any Bass.
