Ouchard Style

Mirecourt, c 1930

Model: Round Stick with Nickle Silver Fittings
Weight: 150 Grams w/rubber grip
Length of Stick from Tip (not including Screw): 27"
Playing Length of Hair: 21 3/4"
Comments: Powerful sounding Orchestral Bow. This Bow has an appraisal from Paul Biase Violins of NY as an 'Ouchard Shop Bow' OR in the style of (a follower of) Ouchard. We also obtained another professional opinion that 'in the style of' Ouchard is the closest possible claim being that this is an old Mirecourt Bow with no Pedigree connection to the famous association of Ouchard. Regardless of Pedigree it is a great Orchestra Bow that was recently put up against a certified Ouchard and out played the original hands down. This Bow is being offered at a fraction of the price of a certified Ouchard.
